He writes like a poet and is very wordy with his feelings but talks with a very very strong foreign accent that I can't understand, so he went back to writing emails only. He says he's from the Netherlands. His communications don't add up. He seems to be in a different reality from me with the things he says that don't fit an online acquaintanceship. He bid on a job inWashington DC only to lose out on the bid and then told they wanted him for a much larger project in Dubai (Persian Gulf) that would take him out of the country for 3-4 weeks. He wanted to meet me instead and wanted my advice (someone he's never even met). I wouldn't advise him and told him he needed to do what was best for him without me in the picture. When I told him I do not need taken care of financially but that I have a meager income that provides adequately for my needs, he stopped contacting me. He has 2 cell phones. He texts and calls from an android phone but his emails are sent from an IPhone. The IPhone number is not the one on his professional email signature. That number is the android phone. He claims his wife died of cancer 17 years ago and he has one son in Georgia along with his mother, but he is willing to relocate where ever for the right person. Nothing he said to me in emails adds up to being person with legitimate motives. I have told him several times that the stuff he says to me in emails is only suitable between two people who have a personal committed relationship after meeting and dating for awhile. And that writing letters is one-dimensional and doesn't allow a person to truly know the other. He disagrees. He doesn't back down or respond appropriately to my concerns. He just ramps it up even more. He has given me red flags from the beginning.
