After the first two weeks I witnessed the property run down and infested with rodents (mice, and bats). I was allowed one cat on the lease. After the lease was up, I asked for the
security deposit back, two months later I get a check for $50.00 and a statement stating they had to clean the apartment for three eight-hour days due to cat hair. I cleaned the apartment
weekly due to the cat. I also cleaned the apartment for two days prior to leaving the property. Due to the condition of the property, the apartment needs cleaned, dusted
every four days, The dust falls from ceiling from the mice and bats running between the roof and the drop ceiling. The walls drop brick dust onto the floor and counters.
I left the apartment cleaner than it was first presented to me.
There is no way possible that the owner needed 24 hours of cleaning, hiring a professional cleaning company and paying them for three Straight days.
Furthermore, I am a CAT scan traveling Tech. My supervisor at the time, who is Jolene Cochran is Brandon Engelkes's Aunt who referred me to the apartment in question.
This is a setup and a con, I do not want these people taking advantage of any other Traveling Tech's. Over charging rent, stealing deposit checks and poor living
conditions.
