John Sanchez called Sacred Heart Church in Lake Charles, LA at 11:21:48am and said that our Entergy bill for 1102 Mill St was delinquent ($1,498.64) for 2 months and that we had a disconnect in 30 minutes for 1102 Mill St. I asked him why the name Wilkinson Law Firm came up on my phone id and he said that was the law firm for Entergy. The phone number on the caller id was 479-273-2212. He told me my meter # was 8844 (he did not have an account number). He told me I needed to make a cash payment of $1,498.64 in the next 30 minutes to avoid the disconnect. He told me that I should have received a disconnect notice in a gold envelope and that is why he was calling so that I could take care of the past due payment. I asked why I couldn't way on the website and he said that I couldn't pay on the website because it was not going to be processed quickly. He gave me the location where I needed to go to make the payment. 1717 Gerstner Memorial Dr in Lake Charles was the closest location to my address and I needed to be there before 30 minutes. The payment kiosk machine was inside the Food Mart inside the Circle K. When I got to the location, I needed to call him at 1-800-625-0978 ext 1011 so that he could waive the $1500 security reconnect deposit. He gave me a case # RS-785T2129. He has attempted to call Sacred Heart 3 or 4 more times since the initial call which lasted about 14 minutes when we talked on the phone (we haven't answered). I did tell them that this sounded very suspicious and maybe I need to inform the police.
