I called to rent a car from Enterprise Rental Car, I got their number from the website. I paid for a rental car over the phone with my gift card from American Express. When I talked to the representative, he told me to call him back on this other number. I called back and the same representative said "Budget Rental Car" not Enterprise. I felt like I had been scammed. I tried to call the Amex Gift Card number to get my money back or stop payment. The gift card representative said once someone was paid they could not reverse the charges. I am out $200 for the down payment and $128 for an extension.
