"Hi, I'm Ms. Veronica Wang, I am the Talent Acquisition Specialist for Enveda Biosciences and I'm pleased to inform you that your resume posted online has been reviewed and forwarded to the Management Team of Enveda Biosciences for an interview are you available and willing to undergo this interview?"
I texted yes and they immediately wanted to conduct an interview, no scheduling was mentioned. They texted back,
"This interviewing procedure will be a computer/smartphone-based interview and it will be done via "Signal Messenger OR Microsoft Teams" do you have either "Signal Messenger or Microsoft Teams" on your PC or Smartphone to enable you to commence with the interview?"
I said yes again, then they sent,
"Quickly search and download the Microsoft Teams App from the app store on your smartphone. Let me know once you've done that for the next steps.
Once downloaded, Have Microsoft Teams Set up And Provide the Email address linked to your Microsoft Teams Account."
I sent my email and then they sent a link to chat on microsoft teams.

I began chatting with 'Mr Vasili Sahu', no extensive personal information was asked besides my name and location. Here are the chats they sent me:

We are currently looking for a 12 hard-working team to work for us from home as the working hours are flexible. After this, I stopped chatting with this person because they were taking a very long time to reply, and at this point I decided to search the company and 'Mr Vasili Sahu' and found this scam tracker. I had no suspicions about the 'company' website, other than that they only had one five start review, but after searching the 'interviewer' I realized that this was a scam. They didn't ask any glaringly scammer questions, but the grammar issues should have raised a flag sooner. They did ask for my email in the text messages, and I already received a spam email, likely from these people. I should have also realized that I never applied for this position with this company on any job sites, so the interview was out of place to begin with. I applied through USAJOBS and Indeed, so I think my private information may have been leaked from one of these sites or a scam job listing was posted on one of these sites.
