I was on the dating site Tinder. I connected to this gorgeous man who said he was from Croatia. He said he lived in Franklin Va which is 1 hour from me . We had planned to meetand the night we were supposed to meet he said that I didn't get in touch with him on Google hangouts which he had asked me that day or the day before to get off the tinder dating site and talk to him through Google hangouts. I had not switched over yet so he said that he didn't meet me because I didn't talk to him through Google hangouts but I had text him through tinder and through his personal phone number but he use that as an excuse not to meet me that night. He said he was leaving the next morning for Houston Texas to catch a flight on and Houston Texas to catch a flight on an oil rig out in the golf.oil rig out in the golf. That day he text me and said he had a really tough day because his wallet got stolen at the airport. He also says he's 6 foot two.The next time I talk to him it was a romance beginning that went on for about two weeks and then he started asking me if I could buy him I tune cards take pictures of them with the security number on the back exposed.. He told me that he would pay off any credit cards I had so I could buy him iTunes cards and to prove that I could trust him he would pay off my card first. I gave him my account number to both my credit cards and a few days later online it showed he had paid them off. So at this point I believe him because he just paid off $XXXX for me, $XXX on one card and $XXXX on the other card. When I saw that it was paid online I went ahead and got him $XXXX worth of iTunes cards because he said he would immediately pay off my card again because he needed the cards to get home from his project on the rig which he said was with shell. About two weeks later I got a letter from both of my credit cards saying that the account that paid my cards was a closed bank account now my credit cards are double and the credit card companies have closed my two accounts because of all the activity that seems fraudulent . I have talk to him about this trying to get my money back and he keeps telling me that he can't do it he can't transfer money because he lost his credit cards and that the banks have frozen his accounts since he has lost his credit cards and is asking me to buy him more iTunes cards he has asked me to borrow money from my parents my family my friends and has even asked me to take out a loan he has asked me to go to Walmart and get a credit card loan from them he has sent me loan companies to get loans out for him or for me to buy him I tune cards. I think he is selling these cards and making money from me through this. I am a single woman and don't have any extra money whatsoever and this has hurt me in so many ways I am trying to keep him going as far as conversation goes so I don't lose this connection in hopes to catch him. Please help me I am devastated and feel Bad about myself falling for this but if you see all my responses to him the questions that I'm asking him is making him very frustrated.
