Type of a scam Charity
We started communicating via Twitter and he had asked me where I was from and what was my bank account name and how long did I had it for because he had said that he could help me pay off a debt that I had been dealing with for quite sometime. He had asked for my number to better talk or text regarding the matter. So slowly I was communicating but not giving information that would hinder me. Once we exchanged numbers it struck me odd that the area code seemed to be from Vegas however, when looking into it more in depth I noticed that it was a Google number that when you call the number it asks to state your name to be connected. Asking for my email he said he would send me a copy of the check and instructions to fill it out the proper way would come after. Another part of my being skeptical was that the checks that were basically blank that had his name and address in upper left turned out to be from a different state completely from his number. I went a little further and looked online while pretending to communicate with this person saying I was printing the check to fill out because I wanted to make sure if there was a way to catch him than someone would develop a way. I looked into the address and see exactly where the property was and who owned it and let me tell you that I don’t see a Eric Williams owning that property or living there. The sirens are going super loud as I am immediately seeing this person to be a scammer more and more with the address, the email, the check. So hoping that in my report that something becomes done and action takes place to put someone like this behind bars if they are truly doing things to hurt others and benefit themselves.
