I was eventually "hired" as an administrative assistant and later sent hiring paperwork. The next day I was aske to provide my address in order for the company to send me startup equipment materials and programs for my training process. I was overnighted what I now know to be a fraudulent check of $5,250. The following morning I, due to suspicions, took the check directly to my bank manager at my local branch and he confirmed the check to be fraudulent. I did not give out my social security information or my banking account number or routing number but I did give out my name address and they apparently already obtained my phone number from ziprecruiter.com I also did inform them that I bank at Bank of America. I felt it necessary to report this so there will be further investigation and hopefully this operation will be shut down immediately.
