I was reached out for a remote data entry position. They offered $30/hour for a full-time position and that they would send a check to pay for the needed equipment (which is about a decade out of date and no longer supported). They wanted me to plead my loyalty to the company.

Their address that's listed in California is where a UPS store is located.

The same thing happened to me. I realized too late it was fake, I already gave them my information. I just froze all my credits and I’m supposed to be receiving the check tomorrow. I don’t know what else to do if I should send the check back or just cut contact with them
