Type of a scam Online Purchase
I almost got scammed by Etsy... it took me a long time to get my $13,454 credited back to my card.
It was the most painful and horrible experience I've ever had.
Their dispute resolution format is totally duped with [censored]s from the Philippines who continue to cycle you continuously in a circular pattern forcing you to text chat or talk to dozens of different people who can barely speak English... Can't understand what they're saying half the time. They all say the same thing concerning your case like they're trained to be bots in human form. Stating over and over the same thing you heard from the previous text chat person with no help or escalation to help your case.... AND I STRESS THE FACT THAT THEIR CASE RESOLUTION IS OF TOTAL INCOMPETENCE.
It was only after threats from my credit card company that they initiate a lawsuit if they did not comply to a refund based on all the evidence that I had presented to them that the seller was using mail fraud and credit card fraud.
Don't buy or sell on Etsy it's a huge platform for scam artists and Etsy supports them.
