I was excited about the prospect of new work through the ScamPulse.com and responded immediately. He wrote back fairly quickly, with very detailed project info and requesting a quote. At first I thought it could be a legitimate project, but I started to suspect it may be a scam. His choice of words/grammar seemed a little off, but I replied again explaining my process before creating a proposal - I insisted on a telephone call. He wrote back again claiming he was on a business trip and was too busy to talk on the phone and that his phone "recently fell down" and was malfunctioning. He also indicated that he had a $2000 budget and that his "project consultant" would be handling sending files. I wrote him back one final time stating that I would not be able to provide a proposal without confirming a few things with him by phone. I have not heard from him since.
I just found out that my friend who is also in the ScamPulse.com received the exact same email, so I feel like he's targeting all creative folks in the BBB. Beware!
