i bought two tickets to see Whitney Cummings at the Chicago Theatre on 10-18-24 back on May 28th. I received three emails from the company I purchased the tickets thru called Eventticketscenter.com. They assured me that my tickets are expected to be delivered with a tracking order number. The second email was a "thanks for registering with us email" and the third email was the email that confirmed that my order was placed, processed and that my tickets were transferred on 5-30-24 with instructions to access my tickets. The instructions state to find the electronic transfer email in your inbox. Follow the instructions in the email to create or log into the Account Manager to complete the transfer; Once the transfer is complete the tickets should be visible in the Account Manager-- verify their accuracy if you notice any issues. Display your mobile tickets via your account Manager. Log in by selecting the date pf the event and choosing " Scan Barcode" at the venue door; and enjoy Whitney Cummings. If you have not received the email transfer invitation email. don't forget to check your spam or junk mail folder. it may also take a few minutes before the email is received. if you still do not have the email, as the event approaches, please contact [email protected] for assistance. My order number was # 46811440. As the date is approaching, I reached out to them on Monday about the barcode email i never received, and they gave me the run around by telling me that the email was in one of my spam folders. I looked again and again knowing it wasn't. They said they would reinitiate the tickets thru the seller, and I would get another email from them and then that would prompt the Ticketmaster email that I was looking for with the barcode I needed in order to get into the venue. We did this twice and to no avail, I have not received my tickets. Today, I called them and asked for a refund, and they told me they do not do refunds but directly on their site, it says, " Your purchase is protected. You will receive a 100% refund for your tickets if: Your order was accepted but not delivered by the seller. Your order was accepted but not delivered in time for the event. Your tickets were not valid for entry. Or your money back. You will also be compensated if your event is canceled and not rescheduled. ETC is proud to provide customers with the tickets they need to create memories that last a lifetime. Our support team is readily available should you need us." When i was on one of the chats with their "customer service reps" i was also on hold with Ticketmaster at this point to see if they dealt with this third party affiliate, and i told the chat rep who i was on the phone with and he quickly got off the chat with me without resolution. Telling signs that this is a scam.
