A call was made to the hospital I work for from Evergreen Nephrology (based in Greenville, SC, USA) asking for an admitted patient by name asking for medical information. I asked for the last 4 of the SSN to verify and the rep was unable to provide it. This happened two days in a row. The patient is not registered with a nephrologist and does not require nephrology care.
