I was selling my truck on craigslist and two different guys text me and wanted me to go to a website and purchase a vehicle report. I went to one and after I paid my money, I did research, which should have been done first. The whole thing felt strange, I found out that this was a scam and had to call my bank and cancel my debit card. Then they reported me to paypal, which I never use, and the disputed amount is 0.01.

Was selling my jeep and a guy called wanting to buy it but wanted a vehicle history report but only from autohistorypaper ($25)kept insisting.after I purchased he was gone.I saw on consumer reports about this type of scam.Should not have to pay$25 for a report.
