I received and email. I had an interview and I quit my job to work for this company from home. I put in my 2 weeks notice. I started on 10/14/2024. I logged in and shipped 2 packages that they sent to my address and I submitted a W-9 tax form with my Social Security Number. They have my address and my contact information. I still have the emails and now I need to find another job. I filed for unemployment today and I do not have any income coming in.

Was contacted by Hanson Moore regarding a repacking and shipping work from home job. Unfortunately I fell for it and worked for about 3 weeks reshipping packages that shipped to my house. Then all the sudden the website I used to track my daily tasks went down. No response from the company when emailing and the phone numbers provided are not valid. I am worried as I did fill out the W-2 form which includes my SS#. I did speak with a lady initially as an interview so thought was legit.
