Called and said I owed $987 to Verizon, a company that I have never used before. I was told by Miss Smith that if I didn't pay, she was going to turn my case over and that I would be sued. I asked for information of the company so that I could get a hold of them since I have never done business with them before. She was short with me. Wouldn't give me any information. Talked over me and eventually hung up on me. I called her back and got more of the same, except for this time she called me a liar and said I should just take responsibility, then hung up on me again.

Someone from Excalibur Mediation Group called to say they are collecting a debt from Chase Bank. After explaining to the lady on the phone that I never had an account with Chase, she proceeded to say that they "verified" everything and the debt is valid and if i wanted to avoid further collection or garnishment, I would have to schedule a payment arrangement or pay a lower amount to settle the debt. The amount she said I owed was $941, but they could settle for half the amount. She said I need to contact them by Friday before they take me to court to garnish my wages. I ran my credit report today and that debt is not even listed, because I never had such an account.

My Boyfriend Received a call from a Anthony Phillips(who I may add has never called me on my phone) he claimed a had a Orchard Credit Card that I had not paid. I stated I never had a card and wanted to know when the card account was from he then said and I Quote " the card is linked to you and a person who never had a card would not ask when the card was activated" I am going to admit I went off not in a nice way I refuse and have never been told I was lying and was a lying. WHO DOES THAT THAT IS IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Aggressive, threatening with court legalities, attorney fees, etc to get 300 out of me from a debt I have no idea about from 2011 from City Bank (I know my rights, after 7 years, you can suck it easy b[censored]). Rude hoe called. When i asked for their address they would hang up on me. Did not want to give me there address. Straight up scam. Attached is two numbers associated with these dirt bags. 800-218-0275 and also (646) 680-9357

They call my husband's phone about four times a day looking for me saying that I owe 1000 some odd dollars from back in 2010 and right now with the interest it's up to like $11,000 but if I pay them $500 it will be taken care of today they have my address my phone number my social security number every time we tell them to stop calling they hang up on us and we have blocked every number they call us from like 9 different numbers

I’ve been receiving phone calls from an unknown number. Every time I try to speak to them I get hung up on. I called the 1800 number they provided. When the phone is not answered it goes to the voicemail of “Anthony Phillips”. When answered they don’t disclose who they are unless you ask. They just tell you they are part of a law firm that mediates to prevent criminal charges being filed. They informed me that I am having felony charges pressed against me regarding a credit card that has been paid in full since 2011. They read off my name, social security number, address, and drivers license number. When I told her it’s paid off she claims it is not. I told her to send me documentation and take me to court. These people have previously tried this under a different name. It happens every 6-9 months. I don’t know how they have obtained my information but I would like for these scammers to be stopped and charges pressed against them.

Calls constant through out day different no I’d phone numbers claiming pending litigation against me or outstanding debt. I have checked my credit report called local courthouse absolutely nothing. They just like calling it’s a sport to them. They need to be fined I am on do not call registry as well.

I have been called from Excaliper Mediation Grouop Patrick Anderson a CITIBANK account $ 307.90 and paid in full with 50 4305 USC (b)(2)total by Jose Ortega November 1, 2014 . Mr. Anderson started pressuring me that I owed $ 1,910.00 and interrupted me for the matter I tried to explain is was already paid and he hung up.
The scam was confirmed in that there was a web page www.emgdebtllc.com that had no address, no phone ,number,and no email address for contact and the call back on the phone was unanswered . This is the most abusive scam organization I have ever incountered.

Just got a call from those useless SOBs myself. Asked for my wife but used or exes last name so I told them I don't know her. We have gotten calls to our land line looking for someone whom still get mail here from and we have lived her for three years and had this home number for about 12.

Excalibur Medication Group called me on August 26,2020, when calling them back they told me I have a debt with HSBC of $1,807.64 for a credit card in my name and they mention my phone#, last 4 of my ssn, and my forwarding address. Then spoke with HSBC sold or transferred accounts she told me she couldn't see anything but the account was sold to Sherman Financial and I need to call them. I told her I've never open up an account with HSBC, she told me this will be sent back to the law firm and they will take me to court. Why aren't they being stopped if many complaints are being made on them.

Depending on your state they may not be able to do anything but get a judgement, like here in NC they can't garnish wages on bs bills, but they still have to notify you of the court date. Then they have to prove the debt is valid. Plus they only have so long (7 years I think) to collect the debt so after that they will lose in court anyway.

"Mrs Franklin" called me and asked if it was me. I confirmed it is and she started listing my ss#, address, dob, and driver's license number but wouldnt tell me why she was calling just that she is from Excaliber Mediation Group. She continued with threats for quite awhile, if fact, I put my phone away for a couple minutes and she was still talking. I hung up on her and she called and left a threatening message. After that she might have called my ex in laws (divorced since 2002!) They didnt ask who was calling but the tiing points to them.

They keep calling my father's home over an old debt from 2010. I paid that debt off in 2018. I told them to stop calling my parent's home and research with their client (HSBC) to confirm it was indeed paid off. I was rudely told they would not stop calling my parents even though the debt was paid in full. I am willing to pay an attorney to avoid others from dealing with this fraudulent company.

Ask for their address, send a registered, signature required letter stating that you, or he wishes to receive no phone calls at home, work, cell, any family or friends concerning any matter of debts owed, you can contact me at X address via USPS.
After they receive said letter if they call again they will be in violation of the FDCA, and they are legally allowed to call only once per day if they make contact.
But I just usually start cussing them out and calling all manner of names until they hang up. Then I call them back over an over again and start yelling and cussing at them. Had one a few years ago that was when my wife got home she called them and they asked her to ask me to back off. Weird, never heard from them again. Of course I had them from the start bc they threatened to have me arrested. Lol. Debtors prisons went out in the 1800s and it's illegal for them to threaten that.

They call me 3 times a day and have for over 3 months. I finally answered and they claim my husband has an outstanding debt for a company he never had a credit card for. When I said this and that we aren't paying anything and to send us info in the mail, they got angry and claimed they were going to press legal charges and hung up.

They keep calling and saying I owe a debt and then when I have told them I need to see what they are talking about the proceed to belittle me. I broke today, yelling back at her and cursing like crazy. I have reported them to the FTC and no response. Please shut these people down before someone gets scammed out of their money. Awful and hateful people. Local number given 864-301-8856

I got a phone call about a week ago from a local number I called and answered and they started to repeat my SSN, Current address and DL number. Then said I owed on a credit card from 2004. I was 13 in 2004. So I asked them what credit card it was and they told me it was for Capital One. So I told them I wasn’t even of age to have a credit card in 2004. And I just purchased a house and all my credit was paid off including anything in collections. And then they said that it was for Credit One. So I told them they can try to serve me they apparently know my address and the woman hung up and then called from a different phone number and said “credit one bank” at this point I already knew it was a scam so I hung up and immediately called Experian to put a fraud alert on my credit report. Today I had a missed call from another phone number so I called it back and the man on the phone said “stop being a bum bitch and pay your bills” so I hung up and I blocked that number.

2004? Debt isn't coll collectible and would no longer be on your credit anyway. Get some horn in a can, when they say who they are, blast away.
