I have been submitting resumes for my upcoming relocation to *** **. I received an employment notice for a company named Exeltis via Association of Executive and Administrative Professionals. I have a copy of the email invite with all domains and email to reach out to via google chat. I also have a transcript of the google chat. Everything seemed ok in the beginning, I was provided company history, job description and standard interview questions. However as soon as I was notified that I would be hired for the position, the first thing they asked for was my banking information which was the red flag. I hope that during our "chat" they were not able to access or breach my computer or plant any type of virus. This is very alarming. I am a single parent just trying to find employment. To be scammed like this is disheartening. As I can only attach one item, I will post the transcript of conversation below:

With my experience, I would be interested in the Administrative Assistant position. The timing of June 6th works well to be in the office setting but an earlier start date for home base position works best. I am seeking long term employment with no plans to leave the position. I hope to retire in 20 years so no desire to switch positions once employed.

Chris, I am certain you can understand that prior to releasing sensitive information, it would be my desire to have a formal employee contract emailed to me. It would seem that completing employment documents would be the first step prior to providing my financial institution information.

I don't need your bank information i only ask you the name of the bank you are banking with

Once again, that seems a bit out of line for the stage of employee hiring process we are in and I do not recognize the validity of this question. While the opportunity does sound favorable, this change in conversation does have me alarmed.
