I recieved a call from Experian saying someone was applying for credit cards using my SSI. Someone in Michagan tried to charge My NASA Credit card. There was a red flag on my account. They said there was a Debt Validation legal process. They would provide a Financial Advisor who would charge my credit cards the cost of resolving the debt and that I was not to: 1. apply for any other credit, and 2. not to deal with NASA or Synchrony Bank. They sent me letterhead, laws and it seemed offical but to good to be true.
