Four men came to put out pine straw in my yard on Friday, August 21, 2020. I asked them to put out pine straw just in my back yard. The gentlemen that seemed to be in charge, Dominick Sterverson, stated that I needed pine straw in the front also. I told him I could not afford to do that just yet. When they finished the back yard they proceeded to put out pine straw in the front yard. Mr. Stervenson stated that he would give me a good price on it. I never agreed for him to do this. When they were finished, he told me I owed him for 260 bales of straw at $4.00 each. Told him I did not have that kind of money and he said that is what I owed him. I disagreed with him that there was NO way he could have put 260 bales of straw in my yard. Told him that numerous times. He finally said he would take $700. I felt intimidated by him and the other men so I wrote him a check for $600.00 and gave him $100.00 in cash. Again, there is NO WAY he could have put 260 bales of straw in my yard. I felt as if I have been scammed.
