I bought so-called "early bird" tickets to a pop-up event that was initially listed as happening in March 2023; the description said final dates and venue would be forthcoming but the event was listed as "until 31-March-2023". I paid for the tickets in March, and after several weeks went by with no info about the dates/venue received, I reached out by email and the company responded that the event was postponed to October 2023. On 9/14/23, the company sent me an email saying their event had been postponed again, this time to March 2024. In their email, they said ticket-holders could either choose to apply their tickets to the new dates, or get a refund. I asked for a refund, and initially they said they'd send it. But after weeks of not receiving it, I reached back out and now the company is saying their policy doesn't allow for refunds.

This company lists dozens of these types of "pop up"events in my city and elsewhere, and it's very difficult to find online reviews for them as the company seems to operate under three different names (Explore Hidden, Viral Ventures, and Immersive Ventures). I've seen comments about them scamming others in similar ways on social media. I'm hoping they can be flagged for scam activity since it's so difficult for potential consumers to find out if they are legit.
