I tried to purchase a Russian Blue kitten from a site https://periodcandies.com/ which was the initial scam - after sending them the $800 via Zelle - they had a fake courier contact me about the shipping of the cat.. I receive and email from express Odyssey with a site to track the cat.. but then they send and email that I need to make a fully refundable deposit of $1300 on a crate to keep the cat safe in flight. After I pay for that - I get a email from the supposed courier that I need to purchase refundable insurance for $1200. The email threatens that the cat could be held in quarantine for 9months.

There is fraud on so many levels here - I reported it to GOOGLE as the advertisement for the site was what came up first when I searched for Russian Blue cats. Google seems fine to collect fees from scam buisnesses advertising on their site. They have yet to remove the ads
