I placed an order from an online company. They shipped my package out via some shipping company named expressshippers.online I got a message from them saying that I needed to pay a $350 refundable insurance and customs stamp fee. I questioned it because the person that i placed an order with is in California. So then they started getting pushy. Eventually i was able to come up with the $350. After paying the $350, they told me that i needed to pay an additional $300 for delayibg the process. When I was able to come up with that $300 I sent it to them. Then they said that they were delivering the package and was processing my insurance refund but it would cost an additional $200 to process it. Which they said was refundable as well. I didnt hear back from them so two days later I get a text telling me that the agent tried to steal my package and that it would cost me an additional $200 to recover the package. I scraped that togerher and sent it to them and didnt hear anything again for a couple days. Then when i go to the site and click the chat button i got a message saying Hello Mr NAME we have quarantied your package and you just need to pay the quarantine fee of $350. That is when i decided i was taken for enough money. I reached out to the sender and he said that he was going to file a police report but then messaged me back saying that i needed to pay the Sherriff $300 to investigate because it was out of his jurisdiction. That is when i realized that they were all in on it. I feel really stupid.
