I talked to a gentleman by the name of Blake Jefferson from exquisite Labrador puppies.com..
I reluctantly sent him the money through venmo, $1000 total. My puppy, named Kate, was supposed to be flying from Fort Worth Texas to Boston International Logan airport Friday November 19th 2021.. I have over 900 texts that were shared between my husband, myself and this Blake Jefferson..
At 1 PM on Friday, a few hours before the puppy was supposed to be brought to my house, I got a phone call from Pennsylvania shipping and logistics, Stating that I had to pay $1200 before my puppy was going to be able to come to my house due to pet insurance.. Reaffirmed me that I would get a refund upon delivery of the puppy. I knew right then we were being scammed. I have not been able to get my money back through venmo but in the meantime, he has shut down that website and I'm sure jumped onto the next.. I'm just glad we weren't out an extra $1200.. The 1st thing that sent a red flag was he was supposedly from Texas and I was getting a call from Pennsylvania..
I'm not sure if I should be attaching the tons of emails that were shared back-and-forth plus text conversations..

We contacted this gentleman in regards to a Labrador puppy. His website stated that he had a sale on them for $650 so people can take a friend home during COVID-19. He was in great communication with my husband in regards to getting the puppy. He preferred to use cash app or Zelle. When the original payment didn't go thru he did give multiple other cash app information (his son in laws and neighbors) and then his wifes venmo, non of which would go thru. But then he suggested to use bit coin which worked. He set up to send the puppy thru a delivery service called Express Animal Transport (Express Mover). They emailed us with a tracking number and information that we could track the puppy. They then emailed us letting us know that we had to rent or purchase an air conditioned crate for the puppy to travel in and gave us a list of options and told us that 98% of it was refundable. The puppy was coming from California and we live in Ohio, the puppy landed in Fort Wayne International Airport Indianapolis. They it had to go thru a health check because someone on the plane was tested positive for COVID-19. They said his health insurance policy was good for California and Ohio, not Indiana. They created a policy for us which would be 95% refundable but would cost $1860. Being in contact with the gentleman he was able to come up with $1720 and we had to come up with $140 which we were able to. At this point all communication stopped from the movers and the seller.

Almost the same thing happened to me and I'm sorry that you had to have this happen to you.
Out of curiosity, was this gentleman's name Blake Jefferson? I'm wondering if it's the same Labrador seller you've restored seller as what I had the conflict with and lost $1000, almost lost $1200 more
