I was offered a job by someone claiming to represent Ezra Holdings Limited, Myron Austin.He said he found me on Zip Recruiter. The job sounded too good to be true. The interview was conducted via chat on Google Hangout. I never talked to anyone via phone or video. The company was going to send me a laptop and a check to buy software, with the understanding that I would send back any unused money. He wanted me to deposit it via an on line app. Luckily, I could not make the app work. I told him I needed to go to the bank and he was adamant that I deposit via ATM. There was a line at the drive through so I went inside. The cashier could not cash or deposit the check as it appeared to be fake. The front and back were two different pieces, the address of the Credit Union was a P.O. box and there was no number the bank could call to verify that the funds were available. I went back home and told Austin this, who then proceeded to yell at me for not "following directions and using the ATM". Myron said he was in TX, the website shows the company headquarters are in Singapore and the check he sent was from North Carolina.
