A red screen came on telling me I must call 844-325-0952 and "do not turn off computer." I called, perhaps mid July. They rep on the phone said I needed to pay $299.00 and they could remove a virus. I advised I had no money and the rep told me they understood how some ppl could not have enough in retirement. They advised they would repair my computer free, one time. About a week later, they company contacted me advising me I needed to have the repair NOW. I again advised no money, and was told that they would give me a one time repair for $179.99 and after one month bill me for $179.99 again. I advised my only money was dedicated to food and bills. The rep then advised me they would give me a $179.99 gift card from Costco. I agreed and paid via debit card. (since cancelled) When the e-mail with gift certificate it was for $180.00 and for Southwest Airlines, not Costco. Google information told me the gift certificates were bogus. At that time, I had a local computer repairman clean my computer. He told me it was all a scam and advised talking to my bank, since an invoice email advised me there would be a $179.99 billing coming Sept 4th 2017. This email advised me I would see the name Revwiretech Inc. as the name on the billing. Another Google search advised me that web address was highly untrustworthy. I went to my bank and reported the fraud. I had my card cancelled. >>
