trying to buy a pom dog. they had pictures and reviews. we pick a dog and emailed them about it.we sent $340 to hold dog and they want money to fly the dog down and we said no that we would come up to Richmond Va and pick it up. They wanted $250 to fly the dog down and we said no. Then they wanted $250 to complete paper work and they kept texting that they were doing the paper work. Gave them $350 more for a second dog. they finished the paper work and said they would see us the next day which was Sat. We got up to VA and called them and they did not answer, so we spent the night and about 6:30AM Sunday they called and said his brother had died and they needed more money and we said no. we told them we would pay the balance when we got the dogs. They gave us an address to meet them and it turned out to be a park. They call back for money and we said no more money and they told us if we would meet them with the money then they would tell us where to pick up the dogs. We said no that we are going to the police and we wanted our money back. They had told us earlier we could get a refund if we didn't like the dogs. We started home and they called several more times wanting money and we said no that the deal was off and we contacted the police. We don't know anything about the people because we never met them in person. There was three involved.
