They ask knitters to knit caps for women who have lost their hair due to chemotherapy (which I thought was a wonderful thing!). For that effort, they send you a tshirt. The project is actually a scam because the cancer patients don't get anything! The "cause" according to someone that I could speak with, told me that the cause, is to raise awareness and generate donations (my question was, to whom, if it isn't people with cancer...?!)

Facebook post for fake scam website

- Bowling Green, OH, USA • Apr 30, 2024

The company's ad was on my Facebook feed, they had many comments that made it look like a valid business. I placed an order for two items, received one item and it was not at all what I ordered. I emailed the company about this and they said there was nothing they could do because I used a discount code (that they provided for their customers on their Facebook ad). I've emailed them multiple times since and have received no reply. I also went to warn others on Facebook but the company deleted all my comments and blocked me.

I replied to a work from home job through Facebook. I was then prompted to download google teams which is how we have been communicating. He asked about my financial information which I did not provide. I did give ssn and copy of drivers license. They asked to open a bank account from a bank I have never heard of before. I also provided my Facebook login information. I was then informed that in order to regain access to my Facebook i needed to go purchase a 500.00 apple gift card to send to the "company". Once that was complete i would be connected to the company database and regain access to my Facebook and get the payment i was promised which was 300.00 plus the money to purchase all of my needed work materials

Online offer for gummy vitamins for $39. After entering credit card info I was shown an additional $59 cleanse. I tried to reject it. I immediately called my credit card to stop payment. I was informed $299 was charged! Finally contacted company at 866-296-5077 and said I wanted to cancel. They said I agreed to a bundle at $39 per bottle and I could not cancel order. They also informed me that I would be receiving regular shipments! Credit card company said purchase was "pending" and I have to wait 3 days to try to cancel payment. Company said I had to cancel next shipment before 30 days! Help! I want this to stop!

The videos on Facebook advertise bootcut Judy Blue jeans that are stylish, have stretch with tummy control and lift in the back. The jeans arrived two weeks after ordered and they were very basic, no tags, not stylish at all. I immediately completed all the required steps for a return/refund, as these jeans are not as advertised. The customer support is quick to respond, but not willing to complete a return/refund, stating that I received what I ordered. They have offered 30% discount off the next purchase to compensate for my dissatisfaction.

I saw in one of my Facebook groups someone had ordered a nutcracker from Halloween Props and animatronics for sale. I went to their site on Facebook and asked about the nutcrackers. They gave me a price. I paid it using Apple Pay. After I paid it a few days later I got an email saying global shipping from Lafayette, LA couldn’t ship it until I paid them $100 for insurance. I thought that was odd I then tried to cal the numbers listed on the website for the contact numbers and all were disconnected.. I then contacted the representative from Halloween props and animatronics and asked her for the phone number to Global Shipping. During the same time I was online chatting with global shipping asking for the same information. I asked a question from global shipping and the rep from Halloween Animatronics answered it. That’s when I realized they were all connected and it was one big scam.

They have a website on Facebook that still exists. I feel like they could be caught if I knew who to contact to report it.

NOTE - I made the transaction using Apple Pay. I also live in Alabama.  The seller ( Halloween Props and Animatronics for sale) told me they shipped it from Lafayette. I then told them if they’re in Lafayette, I’ll come and get them. I didn’t hear anything else out of her other than what I told you happened today.

There was a sale listed by "Dick’s sporting goods" on my FB page I clicked into it and ordered a Stanley water bottle. I paid $41.98 through CASH APP then got an invoice from Zaech Ltd saying I paid $41.98. The amount went through on my bank account. I have not received the item and the “Zaech ltd” company does not exist.

On November 30, 2023 I clicked on a Facebook ad and placed an order. I received an email as well as tracking number associated with my order. A quick check of the company proved what I thought to be a legitimate company, or so I thought. On 12/30 I was sent an email that package was delivered. I have security cameras on my property and no package was received. I have sent 5+ emails, with no response, the chat feature that was once on the site is no longer visible and I assume they have blocked my emails.

These scammers are also running the same scam under another website https://aroundance.com/products?handler=jb-jeans&campaign_id=120203991833770... />
[email protected].

Facebook should do a better job of vetting companies before a scam takes place. There’s no reason such a large company like FaceBook can’t vet these companies. Makes me wonder if they are intentionally allowing these scam sites as Facebook themselves ultimately ends up benefiting when someone falls for one of these scams. I can’t even use the word God without getting marked as violating FB standards.

Ordered 2 personalized blankets for Christmas gifts for my grand daughters. They supposedly shipped out December 6th .. The customer service number says no longer in service. Emailed them numerous times . I’m told it’s in their carriers possession, which is called ONTRAC.

They also provide me with ONTRAC tracking number . They tell me reach out to them ..

I emailed them numerous times .

Tracked the package. Says it w[censored]ding in Albany. Then it’s going to Gloversville. Due before Christmas.

Yesterday through email , it’s been shipped back to the previous sender .

This order was placed in November. No phone numbers work for Make Me Surprise and ONTRAC !!

Never got the package and they walked away with almost $80.00 . Which I’ve messaged to refund me ..

A Facebook ad for Coleman tent giveaway. It said, just pay shipping 6.95 then got charged twice for 68.89 by aspireelectronictradit with a bogus ph number.

- Tecumseh, MI, USA

Purchased through a Facebook ad.

I ordered (2) Christmas ornaments back in September and would get occasional emails with a tracking number and status.

I got an email Monday saying that my order was delivered.

I checked the mailbox, and the package was not there.

I contacted company and they told me to check with my neighbors to see if they had received it.

I contacted the company again and I was told to contact my local police department.

I contacted them again and I was told to check with the post office.

I contacted them again and they sent me a screen shot showing me that it was delivered, and that I had signed for it.

The address they showed was a house that I had sold 12 years ago.

The company’s name is SHEN ZHEN SHI HUIAT.

The charge was under $50.

I placed an order for an 8 pack sweat suit from a business on Facebook but I never received the product. My bank told me the name of the business that took the money out of my account was called Sunstone. I never received a confirmation email either.

I thought we were ordering a pair of Sketchers sneakers in a color block design. The seller advertised a sale of 70% off. They were advertised as Sketchers brand on Facebook. Normally, I am hesitant to order priducts online, but my daughter wanted them. We followed all instructions for sizing and payment on the website. When the shoes arrived, they were obviously NOT a Sketcher's product and they were NOT the correct size. I have attached the email chain with the pictures their support department requested. The seller is refusing a refund or exchange, citing that they only do so for defects. I would like to alert other consumers so they do not fall prey to the tactics.

Ad on Facebook for carry on luggage from HSN

I ordered to Stanley cups fully expecting to get them and did not.

- Chicago, IL, USA

Seen this website on Facebook, said was bed, bath, & beyond closing store factory outlet, had real cheap prices, looked legit, checked all the small print at end of site and decided to try it.. as soon as I tried to order, got alert from my bank, and then I knew it was fake.

I got lucky, bank refused the payment.

The next day got an automated phone call, supposedly from bank, so I called my bank and they said it was not their # for them, that I had got from the phone call.

That phone call put up little red flags, glad I called my bank and NOT the # given to me from a robot....

Be careful and cautious with this website, they seem to be very adamant about getting your info. I'm glad my bank stopped this transaction from going thru.

I ordered 2 pairs of shoes $78.39, what was supposed to be “orthopedic” shoes.

When I finally got them, it took several weeks, they were nothing as advertised. They didn’t look like the photo at all. They were made of very cheap material. Also they were hard as a rock, no comfort whatsoever in those shoes.

I contacted them on the day when I received the package to return them (which is still my 14 days return policy). All they offered me was getting refund started with 25% and ended 80% or 100% refund to the SCAM address in Hanoi Vietnam.

Here is the warehouse address:

R2A Royal city, Thanh Xuan district, Ha Noi city, Viet Nam

Zip Code: 100000

I called my sister who had a branch office in Hanoi, and she said it was an apartment NOT warehouse.SCAMMER!!!
