I contacted this company thinking that they will help me get rid of the hacker that was getting into my Facebook. They told me that there were 6 hackers that got into my Facebook and that they are posting inappropriate pictures. So I told them to delete the account and they said that they did, but they did not. They told me to delete any banking info that I have on my phone. So I did that. Then he said, in order to lure the hacker to my phone I will have to create this dummy credit card on Venmo and I will have to send money to these fake accounts. Then they will be able to hack the hackers. They also told me to download an app called Any Desk Remote Desktop so they would be able to see what I’m doing on my phone, so they can help me. So after spending 3 hours on the phone with them they said they will call back tomorrow to help. I later then realized it was a scam. I closed my accounts and closed my debit card. I also called Venmo to cancel my credit card because I said this was fraud. But they said since I was the one sending the money and they weren’t the card couldn’t be canceled. I reported this to the police and they claimed it as fraud, so hopefully I can get my money back.
