I inquired about 2 vehicles as I was looking to replace mine.
Each required a deposit and to set up an appointment at a legit address.
I had no reason to believe it was not the actual person and I even knew she had a large family so even the Zelle name did not alert me.
I checked with another of her family members about a sick Uncle and everything matched up.
After doing an estate sale recently ,I was not suspicious about a deposit as we required such.
Not until I sent the Zelle , and then they asked an odd question about more bank info.
I immediately felt sick and called my bank to alert them and file a complaint , change passwords etc. It was too late to cancel Zelle .
I came home and looked up the address , only to discover it was another friend's address.
I alerted her that her address was given.
I reported everything .
Then when I was talking to a senior advocate with Rebuilding Northern Nevada she suggested I contact you after Tim (BBB) had just done a training for them and others in the community.
The evil scammer then had the nerve to ask where I wanted the car delivered and of course I did not give it or respond.
The name on the Zelle was Naim Vuthaj 929-606-1994 said to put in comment "Thank you Kila".
