My husband put up a listing on FB Marketplace. This person texted right away that they were interested and wanted to make sure we were real and wanted to send him a 6 digit code to make sure we were legit. He did exchange phone numbers because of the potential transaction. Something didn’t seem quite right so we googled FB marketplace scams and that led us to this site.
