I listed an item on FaceBook Marketplace and was immediately contacted. They asked for my phone number to text me. Unfortunately, I gave it to them. I got suspicious and asked them to call me. She said she would send me a Google Voice code to verify that it was me. I did send it and then she wrote back and said that "My phone number is invalid for this code" and asked for another cell number to send a code.

This scammer has messaged me numerous times using different names to purchase items I have for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Scammer sends phone number asking me to text/call so they can provide a code to verify I’m real all for their safety. When confronted about this being a scam the scammer leaves group conversation. I’ve blocked and reported to Facebook however all day today I’ve received numerous messages alike from diff scammers posing as potential buyers. Can Facebook do something to stop this from happening to people? Even when blocked the scammer will click on a different item or post and message again.

I purchased a ANRMT color black Grand Tv Stand w/electric Fireplace model#544002110 on 12/05/2021 with my netspend card. Got an email giving a usps tracking #. Looked it up was given info saying that it was delivered in or @ mailbox. Checked it was not in the mailbox rm. Contacted post office gave tracking #. Representative told me that tracking # did not match my address n it was for a packaged from 11/29/2021.
