I saw a post on Facebook for a part-time, work from home position using the name Casillo-Nentchev Sandy on CDA Shop & Swap. I believe her profile was hacked because her Facebook page has personal history showing she lives in CA but the messages thru Messenger shows that she is in NV. The post was pulled off of Facebook. Thru Messenger, I was told to download MS Teams and given a code to talk to an interviewer. After a lengthy interview with David Groose I was told that I was hired and would need to meet with a Company Representative to fill out the W-4 but he did ask for my identification front and back. I was then given a list of office equipment and software that I would need that would be paid for by the company. Then he asked for a screenshot of the credit card I would be using and asked if I have any other cards because he would need to verify which one the company would use. That is when I did a search first on the company then on David Groose and found a ScamPulse.com report mentioning him by name. I then sent a message thru the Company website and was emailed back that he does not work for the company and it is a scam. I am grateful that I did not provide my cc info so have not suffered monetary loss, but I hope this helps someone else from falling for this scam.
