In case I didn't make a report on here, I wanted to share my story. Back in February, I was on Facebook and I came across a new feature they had. It was Facebook dating. There was times that I had issues with the feature because when I would receive a notification that someone had liked me, I was not able to load it and see it. I then looked for a number, figuring that there would be a customer service number like how Instagram and Snapchat does. I called a number and someone answered by a man named Kevin Selvic and he was more than happy to help me with the situation. I was happy too, not thinking anything suspicious. He told me that to fix the issue I would have to buy a Google Play card. Again, I didnt come across thinking about anything suspicious, even when it would be a couple times that he said that there were issues that I needed to buy more google play cards. I was getting frustrated later because since the beginning, he told me that all the money spent would be refunded to me, but there was always and excuse. Every error there was weather I bought a card with the wrong value, the system was down, etc, I was asked to buy cards of bigger value, enough that I spent so much money that I had to take out a loan. When apparently things were "resolved" he told me that i would get my check deposited into my bank account. I asked him when since it has been several weeks of the process and the last excuse was that due to the corona virus, it may get delayed. Never recieved it and I knew that after digging deep in research, I was scammed. I felt and still feel so embarrassed because I mentioned to a scammer how frustrated that I was that I felt like I was being scammed. I feel till this day stupid and anxious that even though its been a while since contacf was made, that he may still have my number and can have my bank info and other personal information.

On Saturday, November 23, I received the following text message on my cell phone from 786-45:

"940149 is your Facebook password reset code."

I do not have a Facebook account or page. Nor did I request a password reset code.

My requests for assistance that I sent to the phishing Facebook e-mail were returned as not deliverable.

Yesterday 10-30-18 2:35pm I received a text from Mark Zukerburg with his picture ID and Facebook ID. The text says I have won a million dollars, there's a picture of briefcase with a whole lot of money in it, and a car, it looks like a newer VW, but even nicer than that, probably electric. There's pictures of winners, and over an over it says this is not a scam, and they go on and on to legitimize themselves. Says all I need from you is cooperation and honesty. The lady who sent me a friend request over the weekend, they gave me a winning code number. A friend from Facebook who I have only been friends with a couple days, there's a picture of her on a back of a book and pictures of her at conventions. The friend chatted with me over Facebook, and her name is Angela (not sure of her last name) she's part of the sweepstakes, she said to send $1,000 on an I-Tunes card to pay for delivery within 12 hours. I received a call from a guy sounded like in India, too. Then an elderly lady called me why I had called her, but I hadn't called her, and she said they had tried doing the same thing to her.

I submitted a complaint to iC3.gov the following: "I received a message today, via a text message on my phone, from +1 (540) 440-8281 stating "Your facebook account is reported for fraud, please confirm your account here: http://info-account-fb8.glacesolutions.net" and that's it. I received it at 10:32 AM PT on February 18, 2018. I will call this message "Message 2." At the time of Message 2 was sent, my phone number is visible to the public on eBay (eBay.com) and on Craigslist (Craigslist.org).

I do believe, although I do not know for a fact, this may be in association with another message, via a text message on my phone, from a different phone number. I will call this message "Message 1." Message 1 was received on January 31, 2018, at 8:38 AM PT and it stated: "Dear Facebook user, your account is reported to have violated our policies, to avoid account suspension visit: http://facebook.review-policy.com/" from +1 (850) 765-6668. I did report Message 1 only to the BBB, aka ScamPulse.com, at bbb.org and no one else. I did try to see if I could report the message to FaceBook but I couldn't find a way to contact them. At the time, I wanted to give a warning to the sender, so, therefore, I did not report them to the police. I also was not aware of the existence of iC3, aka Federal Bureau of Investigation Internet Crime Complaint Center. I did not and will not contact the sender of either of these messages. At the time, my phone number was only visible to the public on Craigslist.

At the time of writing this, I have not sent a complaint to the BBB, eBay, or Facebook about Message 2. I will do that once I am done submitting this complaint. I have already tried contacting Craigslist but I was lead to https://www.ic3.gov/complaint/splash.aspx

Thank you for what you guys do! Enjoy!" And that was the whole report. I now only need to contact eBay.
