I ordered a hair topper. However, the wrong color hair topper was sent to me. I emailed asking for a refund. They wanted pics so I sent a pic of what I ordered and what was sent. The 2 colors are not even similar. They reviewed and said the lighting was making the colors look different. I again asked for a refund & they responded by saying that it would be very expensive for me to ship it back, and offered a 20% refund. My order was $37.98 & my refund was $7:60. I have pictures to add to this but I am not sure if that is possible to do.

I purchased a cheese grater for $19.99 on 10/1/24. On 10/15/24, I was charged an additional $29.99.

When I contacted my bank to report a fraudulent transaction, the bank instructed me to attempt to get a refund from the company and if they refused, my bank would then return the money in a fraud charge against the company. When I spoke to Landmark, they told me that by purchasing the item, I agreed to enroll in a discount program where I could get discounts on other products in the future, with a one-time charge of $29.99.

Since I had no idea I’d enrolled in this program, I asked to be removed from it, and issued a refund. I was then told they could only issue me a 50% refund. I accused them of shady business dealings, and was told a second time they’d issue a $15 refund if I wanted, but that was all they could do. I told them to go ahead and give me the $15, and I’d get the remainder from my bank by reporting them for fraud. At this point, they agreed to refund the total amount.

Watch these introductory offers. They’re mostly scams.

We hired Robert Escobedo through the business name Escobedo Construction LLC to finish our basement. Terms were agreed to an a contract was written. Half of the $30,000 was paid down with another $5000 owed halfway through the 8 weeks needed for completion. The entire project was constantly running severely behind but we made our payments to him on good faith. Once we had given Robert a total of $20,000 he stopped working and blocked our phone numbers. A total of $2300 had been spent on drywall, framing, and hired out labor. Robert was unable explain where the remainder of our money had gone and said he was out of money/could not complete the job. We found out he did not have an active LLC or contractors license, and never pulled building permits. Several others have reached out and let is know the exact same thing happened to them after hiring this man. They made a majority of the payments on a job that was running behind, then he never came back.

Hey, take your money for a home warranty and never give you a person to come out and do the job and if they did give you person the person you called they say they have never paid their bills so they do not work for them or did it do not have their work order and if you call their office, you stay on hold for hours and nobody answered, and then they hang up be aware of this home warranty company scammers

Grace Bags described their handbags as handcrafted leather. Advertised as retiring after many years. The picture shows lovely gray haired couple. I ordered 2 bags intended for gifts. When they arrived they were made of cheap plastic with no leather involved. The plate on one bag was in Chinese so that was tell tail. When I requested a return they offered a 20% refund which I did not accept then offered a 40% refund. Cutting my losses I said 60% which they accepted. I would not give these junk bags to anyone so I will be donating them to the Salvation Army. Lesson learned.

David M Horne, who lives at 8111 Edgewater rd in Orchard Beach Maryland 21226 is operating without a contractors license. He has a Business on Facebook under Dave's Service's Residential & Commercial ( Hauling/Trash Removal/Lawn Care/Landscaping/Handyman/Concrete Work/Retainer Walls/Demo & More. with his phone number as the profile picture ( 443-712-4898 ) he has been taken to court for taking peoples money and not doing the job and has been sued and is still doing this to people against the courts. Not as much but still does, he is also a drug addict who when he hits a low runs off with clients money and has been in court over this and he tries to hide that he is doing this.

I was scammed by advertisement that there perfumes have great smell and similar to some very expensive perfumes at a fraction of the cost, but when i received them they smelled like spirits, actually bad smelling like house cleaning products

They offered a service via facebook i contacted her and she responded with price knew what she was talking about so i felt comfortable. I prepaid so i could book the appointment she was running a special. I showed up to the appointment, which is in home, there was no indication of a buisness on site i knocked and no one answered. I called and they hung up on me. I sent a message to the number and theough facebook and no response.

The truck was posted on facebook for a 1,000 dollars, whoever posted it said they were posting it for their sister and gave me a link to their email. I clicked on the link & the "seller" told me that ebay motors had possession of the truck & i had to get apple cards to make the payment, so i did. Then after that was paid, i get an email from "ebay motors" saying i had to pay 1,000 dollars for deliver insurance because the truck was underwritten & that that money would be refunded to me via a cashiers check upon delivery of the truck. So i went and got the apple cards and paid that & they said the truck would be delivered on saturday 10-19-24, then i got another email saying that i needed to pay another 1,000 because of some indiana import tax. Thats when i realized something aint right. So i emailed "ebay buyer protection" and said i wanted a tracking number along with the name of the shipping company. I havent heard ba k from either "nichelle" or "ebay motors" since then

Ad for Trio Beauty came to me and I responded. I purchased an eyebrow stencil kit for a birthday gift. After many emails, they continually tell me it will be shipped in two weeks. I ordered August 27 and as of October 18, they say it will be shipped in two werks.

Scammer claimed my mom could make $1500 dollars a week posting ads on Facebook marketplace for homes one Lizzie Thorne had for rent on Facebook marketplace. I don't know if the homes were owned by someone else, I don't know how many people the woman scammed
