I filled out an inquiry online searching for my family a cocker spaniel puppy. This scammer responded with emails stating so much information about the pet supposedly available. I also received texts from the phone number and also what is stolen or pre recorded videos via email only. Everything looked legit to me at the time and I was cross checking and referencing online to make sure it was legit. Everything looked legit, and I stupidly sent money until right after I googled the person's name the scammers name they were using ( Ronald Madsen Gerrald or Gerrard) at the address of 1200 Shields in South Jordan Utah. I contacted this person and he advised me they have stolen his identity and have a huge scheme using his name to swindle people of money and that he (Ronald) had also been victimized by the scammers and using his identity for their scam.

The scammers even had Ronalds drivers license.(or at least a picture of it).

Looking back i see red flags now,

I had a friend that works in computer coding look at the websites and he said there was one area that said Pakistan on it.

I feel so dumb for getting caught in this.

I have told the scammers that I have contacted the police

the police have all emails and texts

Please shut this down so that it doesn't happen to anyone else.
