In Vancouver, Washington I received a call about 10:35am from a person who claimed to be my grandson. This person said they were visiting New York to attend a funeral of a grandmother of this person's friend. This person claimed at the airport an incident happened where he was to blame and was arrested.

While in custody he made me write down Dennis Mitchell @ 914 256 8380 for me to contact to post bail. He also had me write down his case number of A00322391. He promised to pay me back and wanted me to contact Dennis.

Approximately two minutes later on the same landline I received a call from 914 256 8380. I did not answer it.

I do not have a grandson by the name he gave me and suspected a scam.
