Received a text asking where I was located to do a move in clean. Gave my location and the next day got a reply with an address to be cleaned but wanted me to look at the house through Google maps because he they weren't in town to show it to me. That was first clue. Then asked me to give my address to send me a check and out of that check they were sending extra money to pay the moving company that was delivering furniture that same day. I never agreed to clean let alone scheduled a date and time so I'm not sure how they figured I wouldn't realize that there are no movers coming since that is planned much further in advance and wasn't planned for the same day we never scheduled to clean. It was obvious they were going to send a check that would have had me on the hook for the money from the check they would have scammed from my bank account

I should also add that they used my location to research recently purchased property in my area to make it seem legit when I looked into the property

They wanted me to clean a home they just bought supposedly and send extra money for me to pay delivery drivers which I didn't agree to but they sent the money and demanded. Luckily I caught on before I lost more
