My 92 yr old mom was sent a check in the mail. We took the check to her bank 5/3rd. They said it looked like a legitimate check. But because we didn't know why she was receiving it to have PNC Bank look at it. When I went to Grand Rapids, MI I stopped into the bank. The lady who helped me said she thought it looked legitimate too. But to be sure call Finish Line. So I called them, and they confirmed that that check number was not made out to my mom. And it was some sort of scam.
