Type of a scam Employment
First message “ MYSTERY SHOPPING: Your Application has been approved and you'll be earning Five Hundred Dollar per Task.”
Second message, “ We just sent you an email, please check both your inbox and junk then reply.” Using phone number (+1 (866) 459-9319)
Then today June 26, 2023, I received a packet containing check and instruction what to with the check. The check looks legit, but I know it was too good to be true.
Then I received another messages from a different number (+1 (866) 459-9487)... “ MYSTERY SHOPPING: Your First Assignment Packet and Fund will be delivered to your physical address between today and tomorrow.”
Second message was “ Once you received the packet just go ahead and follow the instruction then complete your First Assignment.”
I immediately shred the check because I know it is a scam. The check indicated that it was from Ameriprise Financial through Wells Fargo bank.
Scammers used these information on the paper they sent me.
