On facebook I was messaged by a old acquaintance. It had his picture and looked legitimate. He then asked me if I had heard about grant money from NIH. He said he received 200K from them for being elderly and disabled. I asked for more info and he said the only way was he would put me in contact with His "administrator". They contacted me asking for personal info to see if I qualify-name address, phone, email, state and zip code. After giving the info I had a bad feeling so called a mutual younger friend who told me this person that's messaging me had passed away 2 years ago. SCAM!!! Thank goodness it do not go so far as to giving my social security or banking info. I'm still nervous about identity theft tho.
