Obviously phishing. I called the toll-free number on the postcard I received (of course I blocked my phone number first). When a person got on the line all he said was, "Is anyone there?" I replied, "Yes," but he didn't say anything. Then I said, "Can you hear?," and he replied, "Yes." He then asked for my registration ID number and I said I couldn't see it as the postcard was crumbled in the mail. I said, "What is the name of this company?," but he wouldn't tell me. He just kept asking for more info. He asked ofr my zip and I gave it to him. Then he wanted my name and I said, "I'm not going to tell you my name untli you tell me the name of your company." He said it's Home Warranty. When I asked what that even is he explained that it's to replace the warranty on my home. I laughed and said I don't believe I ever signed up for that. He said, "It's not something you sign up for. It just comes with the home." I said, "Well then I will just give this info to my landlord and let him deal with it." He said, "It's not the landlord's responsiblity. It's yours." At that point I had heard enough and I said, "Thanks, Have a good day," and I hung up. I smell rotten PHISH.
