Home warranty expiration, promised to renew for 3 years, offered a monthly payment plan of $+200 or a one time fee $4657 for a 3 year home warranty. Called the number listed and spoke to a man who passed me over to a female manager when I requested a one time payment. I gave my credit card and fortunately was not able to confirm the authorization. Having read about sophisticated scams recently, I googled the number and letter information and was provided with this similarly reported example. They knew my name and address and my mortgage lender which initially made me think it was legitimate. I fortunately froze my credit card and am getting a replacement. But they now have my name, email address, and phone number.

Got a letter in the mail saying my Home warranty may be expiring or has expired. Used the name of my mortgage company to make it look legit. But no return address or company name on the letter.
