We were sent an invoice for this company. We have never done business with them, but we are a life science-related company. This was for an Advertising insertion order for enhanced profile in a Life Sciences Business Development Directory. No one ordered it and when I sent an email to them asking them to provide proof, they quickly apologized for billing us and canceled the invoice without questioning whether or not it was a bona fide charge.

As someone else said, they will list the name of the CEO or a high ranking official from the company on the invoice.
