Our AP department was sent an invoice (to an incomplete name) saying we were being billed for a "Manitoba Business Profile". The initial email included their bank details for direct deposit! This included the financial institution name, the transit and institution number, and account number. We have never contacted this business nor do we have a profile with them. This deceptive business practice clearly constitutes phishing for our payment and bank account details.
Further info: the email was from CDN , and listed the web site: https://cdnwebservice.com/.

We received an email with an invoice for business listing services we did not request. The person signed the email "Kyle". "Kyle" called our office administrator on Sept. 18, 2023 and told her he spoke with someone who authorized their service, this is not true. They sent another invoice requesting payment, and "Kyle" called again on Nov. 2, 2023 and insisted that they spoke with someone who authorized this, which is again not true.

I went to their website, and they have our business listed with info and graphics taken from our website.
