Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

Pharmacy owner was contacted in her personal email ********************* instead of the business address. We use NebsDeluxe payroll software and charges for that service are include on the weekly payroll. But this was an email saying that an invoice from Jan 6, 2024 had not been paid and would be sent to collection. As the bookkeeper, we have never received this invoice, nor do I believe that Deluxe Credit exists. the invoice stated for "small register form" in the amount of $596.62, with no HST. They were asking that a "check" be forwarded to the PO Box address. We have not sent them anything. Just wanted you to be aware. Thank you.
