After a missing called from a private number. I listen to a voicemail left on my phone requesting to call the phone number 866 821-0476 in referrence a seroius bussness with a law suit. I when ahead and called as I was worried and I didnt understood what all this was about. Someone named Michael answered I provide him with my phone number information and he stated that their wated to speak with me in regard to an old debt with an Alarm System Company. They informed me there is a debt from 2012 an alarm system and I have been sued by this company through this law office, and they are to collect this debt at $3,870. I didnt recognize the alarm system company or the number of years this person reported. When I was explaining to this person that I didn't recognize the information, they provided me with the last 4 of my social security # and a Florida address that I don't recognize. When I explained to this person that I don't recognize the address, but I do recognize the last 4 on my social security number, this person began to raise the volume of his voice and stated he will see me in court on Friday if I am not able or would be willing to pay for the amount. I didn't know what to do, but my partner hung up the phone and told me that could be a scam. They call back from a private number again, and I hang up the call. Later on the same day, my mother called me telling me that a phone number that she did not recognize had called her several times asking forme and she was worried. She said they left her a phone # to call back, and it was the same number that contacted me. These calls were made on 09/24/2024.
