Fake Mover Scam Reports & Reviews (2)

The person scammed me for 100$, syaing that they were giving away expensive belongings of her late husband.

- Columbus, OH, USA

Someone purporting to be a local posted an ad giving away expensive belongings of her late husband. This person inserted the email address mentioned earlier in this form. After contacting the supposed "moving company", the contact at the company requested $150-200 for "express" delivery. On their website, they are supposedly located in New York City and Ottawa, Canada, but upon further investigation both headquarters are clearly not places of business (one is a housing complex and the other is a random store in downtown NYC). The primary phone contact listed on the website has an area code that is designated in the western Iowa area. Parts of their website include stock Latin text that you often see with services that allow you to pay to create a website.
