A fake pizza company put a fake company’s flyer under our hotel door at the Hilton Miami Airport hotel. We called the company to place an order and they asked for our phone number and hotel room. An hour later they were not here so we called and the man on the phone didn’t seem to know any english and had a female translating for him. They said they were on the way. While waiting we talked to the front desk in which they informed us any flyers under their doors were scams and that they take customers money and use the information to continue to steal. We were then scared for our safety as they are not a reputable food company and they had our room number. Two males over 40 with dark hair showed up to the lobby. One came in and quickly stood in the corner of the lobby and was the individual calling me and telling me they couldn’t meet in the lobby anymore and needed to come to my room. Another individual was carrying the “pizza” bag that did not look to have enough items in it for what we ordered. We then asked for our security for the front desk to talk to the individual. The front desk had an intense conversation in Spanish with the individual with the pizza bag. He claimed he was just the “delivery man” but very quickly left the premise when he realized we were not puchasing pizza. I have attached the flyer.
