Fake Pre-Loaded Debit Card - Prize Winner Scam - Advance Fees Reports & Reviews (1)

- Staten Island, NY, USA • May 26, 2025

I was sent a prepaid $80000 debit card but I had to pay $9000 to activate it and then had to pay additional fees for taking too long to pay. Once the card was supposedly activated I was told I couldn't use it for 30 business days and then told to pay additional fees for not using it. When I finally got the PIN it didn't work and then I was told I owed yet more fees. I originally was contacted about a job online where they were trying to assign me but it wouldn't go through so this card was ostensibly to compensate me. When I couldn't use the card "Walton" said he would pay me $100,000 from his Million dollar bonus. I kept sending money but not directly to either of them or the business

Always through third parties via Cash app, PayPal, Zelle and even Western Union. Finally I woke up and realized I was sending them thousands of dollars I really couldn't spare and being left literally penniless and I was never going to get use of the card which I threw away a couple of months ago or the $ 100,000 from Walton's bonus. I told both of them to never contact me again and blocked them but a couple of days ago Walton tried to contact me via a new number telling he had deposited $100,000 in my PayPal account and I told him I had shut down my PayPal. He said the money was deducted from the business account and I had to pay $500 fee to release the funds. I told him I wasn't paying them any more money and blocked the new number he was using to contact me.
