I was contacted by email from John Parker, Trademark Guardians. He stated in the email that my company name (******* ********** ********** ****) wasn't trademarked and another company was going to trademark the name and operating without a trademark was a significant risk. I replied to the email and asked him what this was about. He called me and repeated that another company was going to trademark my company's name. After speaking to him for a few minutes asked a few questions and came to the conclusion that this was a scam. He threatened to trademark the other company and I would be put at risk of serious legal consequences if I continued to use my company name. I told him that I thought this was a scam and he got very aggressive, stating again that he would trademark the company name for the other company and I would be at risk. I hung up and he sent me another email stating the same claim as before.
